I bought a 9mm and now looking for practice ammo suggestions, walmart has "TulAmmo" 9mm Luger, steel case 115 FMJ for 10 OR 11 dollars 50 ct. box made in Russia! just wondering if this stuff was safe to shoot but since its sold in store I guess it has to be, so my question is does anyone know of ANY PRACTICE ammo thats cheaper than this? In central AR?

I refuse to run anything with a steel case through any of my firearms. I have seen too many ar-15's with steel cases stuck in the chamber bc of too much of that crap shot through it. Assuming they are $10 per box that makes them 20c per round. Dicks in Conway has Remington UMC on sale for $11.49 which is 23c per round. Is it really worth buying Tula to save 3c per round before tax. Just my opinion and I shoot a lot of 9mm.

Cabela's has some Seller and Beloit (spelling) for 9 dollars and something per 50. If you use the $20 dollars off of a $150 dollar order you can buy 800 rounds for around $150 dollars, this does include shipping. It is not the best ammo, but I have used some before and it did just fine. Some say that it is loaded a little hot, but I had no problems with this.

Just thought I would also mention, this is in brass cases. I ordered 16 boxed this week-end, so it should be here by the 10th. I will try it out in my new Sig 239. Should be enough to shoot for a little while.

Tul brand from Walmart is the only brand i have ever experieced not firing. had 3 in one box, cycled them again and they fired. will never buy another box of them.

That's a great price. I have used s&b in the past and had. I issues. I may have to order 1k or so. Even after shipping it is cheaper than Tula.
