Has anyone been seeing any poults? I made a pass through my hunting area today and was happy to find a hen with 5 big poults that were old enough to fly. I'm hoping that there were several other successful nests as well.

I havent even got a picture of a hen since season was open. Hopefully, they are attempting a renest with this much better weather.

I checked my cameras this weekend. Didn't see any poults but the grass is high in my food plot where I had pics of hens. I didn't see any poult tracks where I found turkey tracks, I checked every mud hole and soft spot I came across for tracks. So far it isn't looking good in my area.

I saw a hen with newly hatched ones the last day of Arkansas season.

Had a pic of a hen with 5 last week. Same hen with only one a few days later. Not necessarily saying 4 were dead. But could only see the 1 poult.

Saw 2 hens and at least 5 poults in a food plot today. Made me happy.

I sat by a tree not 20 feet from this nest the last day of the MO turkey season. I sat a decoy up within a couple feet of that little bush and the grass wasn't ankle high. I dont see any way I could have missed the nest. I was going to brush hog yesterday and saw a big pile of feathers. I never dreamed there was a nest but there it was and I doubt the hen survived. Best I could tell there were 9 eggs. One of the embryos was on the ground and I would guess it was about 1" long. Later in the day I saw 2 hens with 5-6 poults that could fly a little. I wish I had gotten off the tractor and taken better pics.

Saw a hen on my place today. Unfortunately, no poults with her.

Saw a hen and 9 poults in Stone County yesterday. I guess the trapping is helping. I also saw 2 fawns nursing one doe

I saw three different hens with poults last weekend.
