Well....It happens every year, but I think I'm starting to sink into my usual "post turkey season depression mode". Nothing to look forward to but work and the dog days of summer.:frown:  Anybody know a good therapist?

Fishing can help get you by. Also, spring squirrel will open up pretty soon if you still feel the need to be in the woods...

Building calls can help. Build a few and send them to your hunting buddies, out of state landowners where you hunt or people you will be hunting with next year. Once the power tools are put away Some Wild Turkey 101 helps too.

Yeah, I've been wanting to try my hand at building my own mouth calls. I get awful frustrated at the mass produced crap they sell now.:banghead:

My 5 year old little girl LOVES to go to our pond with some worms and catch perch...., and I'm all about throwing some red meat on the grill.

Me personally, I float and smallmouth fish until the water runs too low. Then in the real dog-days of summer, I go the lake and swim. Do a little scuba diving. I'll help the nieces catch a bunch of small bream, and then when it gets dark I'll do some catfishing.
During all of these activities, I catch up on all of the beer I didnt drink while I was hunting.
Before you know it, it'll be Sept and time to go make sure my treestands are ready.

I plan to spend the off-season time perfecting high volume reloading for fun and profit. Only problem is, we shoot up all the profits! :smack:

Pa-in-law just got his new automatic electrical clay bird thrower-outer put together. I believe we'll need to thoroughly test that thing just to make sure its safe, just as soon as I recover from the last skeet blast-fest. :blackeye:

My right arm still isn't working 100 percent!

I feel the same way. The only problem with that is.....I'M OUT OF GAS MONEY!!
Heck, I'm out of a truck right now. And when I get done paying my deductible (hit a deer) I won't have any gas money either. :smack:
Almost hit a deer in my old raggedy backup truck last night. Thank goodness I got stopped or else I'd be walking.
As for the PSD, the way this season was I had a worse case of IN season depression. I'm actually glad it's over with so that I can fish, golf and ride 4-wheelers.
