okay guys I did a bone head thing today and put my polaris keys and my winch remote on the trailor and got to talking with a fellow at our lease at reydell. well, I completely forgot about em and drove back home only to discover they were gone . If any of you guys come across em or know any one that may please give me a shout. they would be probably between rape road and cornerstone along hwy 88. thanks for any help.

Man, that ain't good!!! the best part, they can be replaced....but ain't cheap!! i keep a lanyard on my wheeler keys so it is tied to me or the wheeler......cause I've done the same thing before!!!!!!

Earlier in deer season, I stopped to fill up my 4whlr with gas and I couldn't get a good grip on the gas cap with my wedding ring on so I took it off and set it on the fender of my whlr. Well, about 7 miles down the Sheridan hwy, I remember what I had done. :smack: I pulled over real fast and jumped out and looked, no ring on the fender. :smack: Got to looking and it had fallen off the fender and rolled to the back on the trailer and was sitting up against the back gate on the trailer. :whew: Man was I relieved!!

I finished a job one day, and had taken some pictures...I crawled out of the bucket, took my harness off, and stored it, jumped in the truck and headed to the house.........looked for my camera, to download the pics..it wasn't in the cab!!! I checked the back of the truck and it wasn't there either...man was I panicking!!!! Looked in the bin, and it was on my harness...talk about relieved!!!!!!!! that was the second time I had done that....the first time, I wasn't so lucky........it was gone...cost me $350+ the next day to replace it. cause I was headed to San antonio for a lineman's rodeo, and was going without a camera!!!!!

What kind of winch, I have a spare remote for a Ramsey 3000 lbs I could send to you.

I wish they would come with two winches. I fried a brand new winch by putting the remote in my pocket. Forgot to turn it off and the stinking thing wound the winch up and turned it to toast. That is why I have a second remote.

A toggle switch mounted on the rig, can eplace the remote/cord...wire it in, and ya won't need the remote/cord, and if wired right, you can use both, either or.........
