Sorry seeing this late. You want to have several freeze and thaws to allow that seed to work down in the cracks for optimum conditions. But some will seed on snow at the tail end of winter and say they have good results.

Plots have done their job this year. Round has tripled in cost and who knows what seed cost is going to be.
