Finally got a letter in the mail today notifying me that I was lucky enough to get drawn. It says they will notify at my email address. So why send me a letter in the mail. What a waste of funds:smack:

If I had a permit I know where I would go. It would be on the Shirey Bay side. If you look at the G&F PDF Map it would be near the ditch just below what should be the .75 mark on the scale. I've watched so many 250+lb bucks run to that area as the sun comes up it's unreal. I saw a largest antler shed I had ever seen picked up in that area one year that you couldn't place your hand around...about a two inch gap between forfinger and thumb. Big soybean and rice fed fellers that never get pressured till duck season rolls around. They will also move from the far Southwest corner of that head of woods to Old-River every other day so it makes that whole south timber line a great spot if you hunt twenty or thirty yards inside of the timberline. Great place to hunt.

Hello sir I'm new into the bow hunting and public land hunting and I'm wanting to get into it. Rainy isn't far from me and I'd like to try it before going to a bigger track of land like white river Refuge. But I don't know my way around rainy or anything about it really so if you could give me any pointers or kinda point me in right direction that would be great! Now I'm not asking for your spot or honey holes anything like that but just anything really would help me cause like I said I have no idea what I'm doing thank you for your time look forward to here from y'all

P.s. what map you talking about and how you read these .75 points or whatever that mean??
