Pay now or pay later?

    lot of call out pay too. We were guaranteed 6 hours. It may have only took him a hour.

    After 40 hours in a week the rest turn into 37.50 an hour. Adds up a little quicker. For us if the hourly guys get up it's 2 hour minimum. Plus lots of companies pay holiday pay on 10 or 12 holidays. 18 hours or worked holidays and 12 for unworked paid at the OT rate. Plus safety and performance bonuses. There are also paid training days paid for required training on days off.
    And some companies pay time and mileage driving to and from work locations. Plus a Per diem.

    It’s becoming obsolete so Uncle Sam can close that loophole and get that tax money.
