Well my acorns got wet this morning! My second pair of Macks waders it 2.5 years. This pair is just right over the year warranty. Its a very small leak, I figure I can seal them up. Is there anything better than aqua seal? That stuff gets so hard and wont flex.

Man that stinks. Aqua Seal is the best thing I know of. I got tangled up in some loose barbed wire this morning while walking out, but got lucky and didn't tear a hole in mine.....I think. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

BEST patch is new waders and this time dont let warranty run out! :head: if ya know what i mean... second best ive found is aqua seal or goop and if you still have another old pair of waders laying round cut you a piece to make a patch to put over hole as well and make darn sure the spot is dry inside and out!

Take it from someone who has had to work in waders. (And hated it!)
Buy new ones. If you move around much the crotch will leak no matter what you do.

Get the extra heavy duty work kind by Lacrosse. They are heavy and expensive, but will last for years.

After posting the above, I went to Lacrosse's site and it looks like the don't make the heavy duty work waders anymore.
Im sure someone still makes waders for working, not hunting. The last ones I had were solid black. But I didn't care, cause I stood in water when I hunted and the ducks couldn't see them anyway.
