Has anyone had any experience with this gun. I understand it is not some great feat in the gun making industry. I am looking for a toss Around gun to squirrel hunt with an carry with me when I jeep out in the middle of nowhere in case I get the itch for fresh meat. How is their action? Is the fit and finish extremely sloppy? How do they pattern? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have never had my hands on one.

I looked at one before I bought a 13 year old a 20 ga pump this fall. I'm not saying they are junk, but I after looking at it decided to buy a used 870 on gunbroker.com for the same money.

When you pick it up you can tell it's not a high end gun.

I have one and it jams fairly often when shooting 3". Patterns just fine but I have an undertaker on it. Any and all 870 parts are interchangable from what I have been told. Decent gun for the money, but I would rather have another 870.
I have lots of 870 but the are family guns and will not use them for what I would use this gun for.
I had one in a 12 gauge, real solid gun, felt better built than the 870. Ran everything i put in it flawlessly. Got it for dirt cheap on gunbroker, I wanna say $125-$150. I also have on in 20 gauge that I have been using for squirrel hunting. Just like the 12, works flawlessly. The are heavy and they feel like a real good solid shotgun.
That is what I have heard. I want a 20 ga. 26 " vent rib.
Thats what I got. Great little gun, I still need to pick up swivel studs for it. I'm getting pretty good patterns with factory modified choke and Xpert Steel, and the value pack of remingtons from Wal-Mart.
Great post. I've been looking at one as well. Same scenario. Wanting a dependable knock around.
Dicks in conway has them for like 140 i was told and wally world in russellville has them for about the same price i am gonna try one for my self they are quite a bit heavier than a 870 but i wont be toting mine much since i road hunt my sq dogs and it will most often be laying in between the seats
i have 12 guage i use for duck hunting, turkey, and sqiurrel. it has been under water and used for a club it is very tuff and operates flawlessly for the money u cant get a better gun. i love mine
