what type of out of state license if any do you need to run and kill hogs with dogs in ark. ?

You dont need a license. Hogs aren't considered a wild game. I have a buddy from LA that hunts with me all the time in Arkansas.

Do not run any Hog dogs on any Arkansas Wildlife Management Areas. It is not allowed. Ok on private lands.

if u read the agfc rules i think it says u have to have licenses i may be wrong

hey bud i think you can get like a 3 or 5 day small game license you better give me a call if you come to town.
also my brother and i may be going to South Texas in Jan. if you are able to jion us that be great. he posted some pics of his trip a couple weeks ago .some nice boars down there.

they way i understand it, you dont need a license on private property, but you do have to have a hunting license on public property to hunt them

As of March 27th, 2008, I can tell you that you are not required to have a hunting license to hunt hogs on private property. I know this because the WO stated so under oath on the stand against me. I will also say that, if the WO finds you, he will probably write you a ticket...cause they do that sometimes. I know.

I hope it helps you avoid the fiasco that I had to go through. Don't trust others to always do the right thing and always know the rules and have documentation to back it up.
