I don't know much about trapping, but a friend of mine caught two otters in one trap. He has caught several beaver, cats, and otter over the last two months. I just wondered how often you can catch two of anything at one time in one trap?

Otters travel in groups so it's not unheard of to nail two of them at once in a 330. I haven't done it myself but on the trappers boards you hear of it a couple of times a season. These are national boards with a lot of people on them so it's still not that common. I have also seen pics of two beavers in a trap but they all always two kits.

I've done that twice John. Once with catfish and other time bluegill. The first bit the hook and it came out the gill cover and the second took the same bait. Strange things happen if you fish or hunt enough.:thumb:
