Ohio State has several hundred Sugar Bowl tickets available for purchase, the school announced.

The tickets are left over from those reserved for university constituents' groups.

The Sugar Bowl Committee said earlier this month that the game was sold out.

These should be a face value if you call them quickly.

I had some on hold Friday through OSU, but can't get off so I never followed through. The price was $130 per ticket, and way up high in the stadium.

That's about what was available from the Sugar Bowl site the night of the LSU game. $120 plus fees for top level seats. It still beats $500-600 bucks for better seats through scalpers.

The best seat is probably still your big screen TV, but I think the whole package...the game, the people, & the French Quarter are worth the $130.

There may be even more tickets available if they lose the 8 or 9 players being discussed for trading autographed memos for tatoos, lol.
