If that's how it went down, and I bet you are right, it makes me want to puke as well. There is no honor and respect of the animal when it is killed in that scenario. They are just in it for the money and bragging rights and its a damn shame!:down:understand this bull was hunted by gangs of Mossback paid scouters .... he was literally hounded for 30 days before a $175,000 governor tag buyer shot him
this bull is the best example yet of how horn porn will drive people to do ANYTHING to get their names in a book or to kill an animal with giant horns at any cost
the shooter bought the bull, paid Mossback an outrageous price I'm certain and Mossback and his army of scouters with GPS's and radio's and ATV's finally cornered the bull and camped on him long enough for the shooter to get a shot
make me want to puke, there is no honor or admiration or anything for this guy to me .... I'm more impressed with someone killing a spike bull do it yourself style than what he done here
I hope it was taken fair chase, I for one is tired of canned hunts. I hope this was done the ethical way.Indeed, if the animal wasn't killed fair chase, then it should be no record, either. Just an expensive wall ornament, that's all.
x2...That dude's huge
That may be legal, but it don't sound fair. Smacks of a "canned hunt" in my very humble opinion.define "fair chase" ?
From all I've read, it WAS legal ..... meaning you can pay someone and his group of cronies $50,000 to search for, find, and literally camp on a huge animals and call from a satellite phone the GPS coordinates so the shooter can come in during the night and set up for the shot at daybreak.
