Many, many moons ago....
I had a Browning spinning reel and ultralite rod. It was a nice little outfit.
Gonna say it was the early 80's. Browning was badging everything.... had a couple flashlights too...
Yea I've got the black one and I think the third model. It's hard for me to keep track of all the differnt models on that older stuff. Some of the die hard collectors get excited because they have different colored spinner heads or some other internal difference.
Zebco = Zero Hour Bomb Company
The Prototype was made from a beer can.
Zebco/Motorguide was a great customer of mine when they made the trolling motors in Tulsa and then Catoosa.
Then the manufacturing was sent to Mexico.
My passed aunt lived in Tulsa, every time they came down back in the day, she would bring us a flat of remand 33s. I don’t remember how many there was but a pile fits on a beer flat I think they were 8$ a flat. They had a boat house on lake tinkieller spelling, they had a butt load of the 77s which were a dock rod and reel built together.
