Sounds like a plan to me but I am married to a fishing lure manufacturing genius' grandaughter... I have a buddy that throws one they call it a "cinderella rig" and he catches large fish consistantly. Just seems like more of an upper body workout than fishing.

What's the Bama rig?
it's a small umbrella rig they hang a bunch of swim baits on it and it looks like a school of fish.. It's the hotest thing in bass fishing right now(so i'm told)

its just a lure u still have to know how to fish its just like any other lure.and the fish r not always going to bite it if anybody can use it i don't see the problem no different than any other bait

You have to still know where this fish are sometimes, but I know people are lucking into a lot bigger stringers using the a rig that they wouldn't have caught other wise, It is a school of shad with 5 hooks, and 5 different meals for the bass to chose from. I guess its no different

Looks like you can still use it in everything but the classic and elite series. Going to be alot of fish caught on it in the open tourneys.

Why are people wanting them banned? Do you feel like they are affecting your fishing at the same time they are fishing them?

if they are not banned the sky is the limit. next go round someone might invent a rig that could crank up to 12 crank baits at a time. there has to be a cap some where JMO..............

If you don't like them don't fish them but goodness don't be down on the guys that do. That is just like discussing baiting deer or what rifle is appropriate...

that last post is like compairing apples to oranges. . lets just deer hunt with fully automatic wheapons then. i feel that there has to be a cap somewhere
I'm talking about banning them from tournament fishing.....just like you cant use live bait. Sorry for the misunderstanding but I stand by what I said " they shouldnt be allowed in tounament fishing". I dont care if you use them to catch some supper....heck striper fisherman have been using them for 40 years!!!!!
