4 1/2 months is fast. Started mine last April. Moved in Nov. 1st, but I still am not done.:smack: Still have a fireplace to rock, shelves to build, and patch and paint spots that got dinged up on the walls. Hard to make progress once you move in for some reason. Nice looking place you have.:thumb:

beautiful...i love the porch. Did you build it yourself?

What does it cost per sq ft right now to build a home?

Where did you get your stone from? I plan on using natural stone on mine. I havent started shopping for it yet, But i really like the ones you used.

  16. We contracted the house out ourselves. Saved alot of money that way but did have alot of headaches with having people call all the time with questions. But I wouldnt have changed anything we did. We got our rock in Jonesboro and we love it too. We knew we didnt want to do brick and of course rock does cost more but it was worth it. We love it and cant wait to get settled in which I know will take awhile.

    Congrats on the house.
My wife has started to get the house bug. The best part about it is that she's starting to pinch pennies.
