I don't know much about turkey hunting I was wondering if I saw 30 turkeys while deer hunting what are the chances they will be around for turkey season
  2. It depends. Flocks bust up closer to season and the toms will leave the hens...similar to buck groups splitting up prior to the rut.

It also depends on hunting pressure and how hard of a winter we have. A hard winter could take a few of the birds out, included predation, spring flooding and another slew of factors.

That being said, with 30 birds being seen, you should have plenty around to hunt in the spring season.

They will split up and move around, but they should be close enough to hear on a calm day come spring. Once you hear one gobble close the distance until you know where he is.

Yeah, there should be some gobbling come spring.
