My new toy. Ak-74. Caliber 5.45x39. Wicked little bullet. I haven't shot it yet but will tomorrow.
Oughta be a good Hog killer. Gotta get some 60gr. hollow points.
Ya better buy a bunch of ammo. Those things are known to eat ammo like a fat kid eats twinkies.
I have about 500 rounds of FMJ's i am gonna work on tomorrow then i am gonna look at the hollow points.
Man, Aimsurplus.com had 1080 round cases a while back, well under 200 bucks if I remember right. They seem to be sold out, but they usually re-stock, I'd check back often.
Preparation for zombie apocalypse?
Why risk it?
When it's cheap, stack it deep!! :thumb:
my sks sure does!!! but i'll be ok with $100 for 500 rounds of wolf
You're gonna need a LOT of ammo, check this out:
It don't get much cheaper than that!
Heck, I don't even own a rifle in that caliber but I'm tempted to buy about 3 or 4 cases at that price just to put up for a rainy day. :thumb:
Never know when one might just show up in the safe one day.
With ammo that cheap, I've been pricing AR uppers in that flavor...
Maybe the missus' ultra-lite will have to wait...
Didn't have much time friday but i did run about 74 rounds through it after i put a red dot on it. Shoots great just need to get a tactical scope on it and spend a little range time. Did order a couple of 30 round magazines for it though. Mr. C was right it can eat some ammo quick and i think my wife likes it as much as i do.
Sounds like a good reason to get a second one... you know.... His and Hers AK74's. :thumb:
Wife has already mentioned that...
