Awesome buck! Congrats!!
I believe somebody posted a trail cam pic of this buck a few months ago.
Score? Kill pics? Story?
This is the second different deer that I've heard of that was the new Arkansas State Record bow kill. Who determines which deer makes the books and where can I find the "official" information?
Awesome buck. Congrats.
Scored 179 and change this weekend at the the Arkansas Sportshow in Jonesboro this weekend.
State record?? That 200 + incher was killed with a bow and it was at the top if the archery list last I looked
I would NEVER have guessed that buck to be 179. Old boy holding it must me a BIG guy.
The Shane frost buck scored 216 7/8". It was at the sportsman show to.
This is state record typical
P and Y won't accept this buck
I'm just wondering how you get it to be a state record. Who does the "official" scoring of the deer, and is their word gospel? Also, where are the state record scores listed? Kenn Young's site has some information listed, but I've heard the state's archery record is different than what he has stated. Who is right? How do you go about getting your deer recognized as the state record.
let me rephrase my statement, P and Y won't accept this score, because of the broken extra main beam. B and C will accept it but P and Y won't.
That's a dandy!!!
Sorry, and I forgot to mention nice buck!
