My cousin owns Stormkloth II.....he is in Vegas at SHOT Shot ( Sporting Hunting Outdoor Trade) promoting their new products.....he went over to brownings booth and talked to the guys and took some pics and gathered some intel...

The gun will be made in portugal....features a fixed barrel, recoil cycles with carriage...Max-4 is $1559 and wood is $1399

The good old day's of a good $8-$900 automatic are gone for good unless you buy used or off brand name. If there were some halfway smart manufacture'rs out there they'd realize this. The benelli's and other 1600 dollar auto shotguns ruined that for everyone, remington and browning are like hey our's are just as good if they can get 1600 shirley we can get 1200

I was planning on getting an auto loader this year but couldn't stomach the thought of dropping $1600 on a shotgun that would be used and abused hunting waterfowl. I ended up getting an all black Winchester SX3 for $820 out the door and have been very happy with it so far. I like the idea of the new A5 but that price is probably a deal breaker for me.
