Look in the for sale forum at the Rifle for sale thread. The rifle for sale is a 25/06 and not 243 but it is NEF and you could buy a 243 barrel for it. The 25/06 is a great caliber though and you may decide that you would rather have it than 243. If nothing else, you could have two rifles.

My dad likes my 243 so much that he wants one for himself. I told him I would keep a lookout for one. If anyone is looking to get rid of one for a reasonable price or trade, let me know.

I've got a 25-06 too. Dad has rotater cuff problems and the 25-06 bothers him too much.
