Stopped this morning while checking traps and gave a hoot. 2 birds answered and continued to gobble regularly until i had to leave. Only 51 days left.

Heard 2 this morning as well.. As I type this there are 11 hens feeding across the yard about 40 feet from the house.. I'm ready for it..

LOL, my son informed me yesterday afternoon that he may stay here and hunt opening weekend instead of going to Sylamore with me.. All those years of not hunting the farm or only taking 1 bird and taking out predators every chance we get is finally paying off..:up:
