When I put the security code in and hit the ok button in the middle of the arrow buttons its does not get me in. All it does is move the code numbers over like the arrow buttons do. Is there a way to rest this thing.
I was told by tech support with Moultrie that you can do a hard reset of the camera by removing the batteries and turning the power switch on. I haven't tried this, but it sounded silly. Give it a whirl.
I'm never buying a Moultrie again. I can't get em to work for more than a year. Have a $100 Bushnell from wally world that's 3 years old and still works great, and I don't usually like anything made by Bushnell.
All my camera's are brownings and I have never had any trouble out of them but my son bought this Moultrie at Walmart and I just wanted to check the pictures and battery life and I can't get past putting the code in. And it has not took anymore pictures since I tried checking Thursday. I hope I can figure it out.
I've got the original infrared Moultrie bought the first year it was out. It's on a tree right now...
There's junk models in every brand of cameras. I think the thing to do is find a model that works good and buy as many as you can. I've had terrible luck out of Wildgame Innovations, but other guys love them.
Call Moultrie. They can help you over the phone. I found one in my office at work that they previous boss left behind but it was locked. Called them and told them what was going on and they walked me through to get it reset. It's worth a try.
I did call them and they got me back in business. Thanks everyone.
