My Father in law picked up a mohawk in .308, a Rem 1100 with poly-choke, marlin .22 semi, 16 boxes of .308, 6 bricks of .22, and 3 boxes of 12 ga. for $4oo.oo! Mohawk looks like new, made around '72-'79. What's the word on them? Pretty good gun?
Yep, they were/are short rifles. I think that Rem. chambered some in some hotter magnum rounds too...It's had less than a box of shells run through it. The stock doesn't have a scratch, It does have a plastic magazine well cover, but you can get a blued steel one for 82 bucks online. Saw the recall notice. It already has been repaired due to the "v" stamp on the trigger. It is pretty short though.
