I was sent this pic by a business associate who lives in Oklahoma. He stated
that this buck was taken this year in Nevada, MO. near Joplin. J
Just wondering if any of the rest of you have seen or heard about this buck ?
I can't make out the state of the license plate on the back of the SUV, but
this has got to be some kind of state or possibly world record.

Mississippi tags. Looks like a farm raised deer. No telling though.

This guy is a friend of my cousin and he said that it was killed off lake wappapelo in se mo. It may have been a high fence deer that got out but it was killed on public ground.

Those are Missouri plates. The Mississippi plates that are posted are old, they have changed twice since 2000, I had cars tagged in Harrison County in 2001, and then Jackson county 2005, and they were both different. The new Mississippi tags look almost identical to the Michigan tags I saw recently.

Killing a doe on public land with a bow would be much more impressive.

OK, so here's a question. If the buck was taken inside a high fence enclosure is it eligible for any state or world records ?
