Nice birds live2hunt.Looks like ya'll had a fun hunt.
We mopped up pretty good on the birds in KS last spring but I can't find my pictures. I'll post em up if I haven't deleted them by accident. I also killed my biggest bird ever in AR this year ( 1 1/2 inch spurs 11 inch beard and 25 pounds) those pics are with the others.
What part of White Cty are you from? I grew up in Judsonia and all my family still lives there.
Not to offend anyone but BIGTURK, did you get run off some land last year by a young man just outside of rosebud?
I'm afraid I did. I let two gobbling toms get the best of me and tried to kill em. Had them dead too if somebody that wasn't working the birds didn't try to belly craw out to a tree in the middle of a wide open field. I used to hunt that land next to it for several years with permission. Birds were gobbling across the fence and off I went. Sometimes the gobble gets the best of me. Sorry if I'm not perfect.
I'm with you Bojack  Got anything to drink?

Not a problem, I understand how it is and have had it happen to myself a few times. I actually got a phone call not long after that happened. The young man who ran you off is the current land owner of the land you used to hunt via permission from Owen Leach and my cousin as well as my long time hunting partner and best friend. He actually killed a bird not long after yall dropped him off at his truck. I can see you are a good ethical hunter and did respect him when he identified himself as the landowner but there are those who don't and we have had some major problems with it. The only reason I had asked is because he saw your pictures and recognized the black truck and thought it might be yall. Its a small world after all but believe me no grudge held.
No problem here. Tell your buddy he's lucky to have such a great place to hunt. I killed my longest bearded bird there a few years ago and will never forget it. That place is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.
Kansas 07' triple beard ,what memories
