I got a Frnkford tumbler at Sportsman's Warehouse last week for $35 but didn't get any media. It was $16 for a little 6" cube. I thought that was pretty high for some ground up corn cob.

Is it really that high?

Where can you get it in central AR?

You can get a 50# box of corn cob grit at Grainger for ~$20. That's what I use. My current box has lasted probably 4 or 5 years, and I still have at least a third of it left. (And I tumble all the time).
Hi this is my first post here. I get Walnut Media at Pets Mart it's sold as bird cage litter. It is cheaper than the real deal but works just as well

And a helpfull post it is. Is it very expensive there?
What's a Grainger?
It is a large industrial supply. We have one in Jonesboro and there is one in LR. I don't know where else in the state they are..

I have used the ground corn cob pet litter from Petco. Be sure to get 1/8" grit, not 1/4" grit. 1/4" is almost impossible to get out of bottle neck rifle cases. Ask me how I know...

Knew you were gonna say that :fit:

I also use the walnut media from PetSmart. I think it was $4-5 for a 2-3lb bag, but I don't remember for sure. They also sell the corn cob stuff there, too, but I prefer the treated cob media. The untreated walnut stuff from the pet store works great and lasts forever.
