This morning right after I put out my spinning wing decoy over by my bait pile which is behind the Wal Mart in Wynne, I had just got up in my stand when it happened. I heard something in the brush. An 12 point came running up chasing a doe. He stopped at 20 yards broadside. I drew back my bow and was getting ready to let fly when he bolted. Before I could get set back down a Mountain Lion stepped out. He too bolted! Then I saw why the biggest hairiest Bigfoot I have ever seen on the woods stepped out! He smashed my spinning wing decoy and started kicking my bait pile all over the place. He finally settled down and gave me a perfect quartering away shot. I drew back and let my Rage Broadhead tipped arrow fly. He mule kicked and took off through the thick stuff. I thought I heard him crash. When I got down there was plenty of blood for the first 5 yards then nada. I decided not to track him. Do you think maybe I should have used a Muzzy? Or should I blame it on George Bush? Next time I'll just go to the duck blind that I own over on Dave Donaldson WMA. Never seen a Bigfoot over there.

I don't know, but a new years hangover isn't conducive to good bowhunting, I don't care if yer using grenade tipped arrows. Next time skip the party and go to bed early!:razz::biggrin:

Update: I decided to go back and try and find the Bigfoot I shot this afternoon. I took my two dogs along. We jumped him out of some thick stuff and ran him through at least three pieces of posted property. (You know dogs can't read or see purple paint.) I finlaly got a shot at him with my trusty .22 and did him in. I got over to him only to discover he was just a dink Bigfoot so I just cut the backstraps out to feed my dogs and left him lay. I learned a valuable lesson today. Never shoot a Bigfoot with a Rage and always make sure he ain't a dink.......

In other words, you just treated him like a cat? Good man!
