Can anybody tell me how the river level is at Maddox Bay and if it's over the island out there? Just trying to decide if I need to haul my 4 wheeler or my boat over there next week? I wouldn't dare ask if anyone is killing anything and where at!!!!!:fit:

Clarendon is at 22.79 flood stage is 25.....i'd load the four wheeler in the boat

Not trying to argue but flood stage for Clarendon on the White River is 26 feet. St Charles is 25 feet.

Agreed.....action stage at clarendon is 25....flood is 26....at 25 alot of the sloughs start getting high enough to run a boat in

We don't usually hunt in the refuge but I like to ride around and look at the scenery, just trying to figure out whether a boat or 4 wheeler would be best.

Does anyone know if they have completed that road they were building up along the river and how to get to it from North end?

i havent been up to it yet but i hear it runs along the north side of round pond. I knew some guys that hunted it and i think they boated in thru cut bluff and went in at Brushy lake slough
