They sure are killing some big deer in Louisiana. My friend sent me the results of a big buck contest at one of the sporting good stores! Check it out at the below link. Note the 2 Serena Theodos killed!

She is scary lookin'. Them are some monsters. Some categories had 250" deer in second place
The pictures I saw are really poor quality and makes them look like freaks:eek:
Aw, I gott'um now....somethin went wrong with my settings...I guess norton goin out is takin my setup down!:smack: Good site right there, but I didn't find Bett_lou's name on there!
Reason them deer were so big this year in lousyanna was due to all the beer that washed upland from Katrina. Them bucks had been feastin on malts and barley for a while.
Do all the deer in Louisiana have bleached horns?

I've never seen any dark horns around here.

Yea thats funny dont care who you are....
After looking again, some of the catagories at the bottom were largest Ar, Ms, and La. So if it has a group called largest from Louisiana, are the rest from other states?
The deer can be killed in any state. You just have to take the antlers to Simmons to get scored. One of the catagories is "beyond 200 miles".
I saw that but most of those were killed within a 200 mile radius of that store. It appears that store is located near where La, Ark, and Miss. conjion! Still some darn good deer.
Simmons Sporting Goods is located in Bastrop, LA. It's real close to Crossett, AR. It's 60 miles from me. 70 miles from Mississippi.
What they don't tell you is how many hours they spend in the woods without seeing anything.
Wow...and that's all I got to say about that.

Bye the way rjet that was a good one
