My dad and I are confiscating my uncle's old discarded 10/22 and plan to go through and clean it up real good, put new springs and possibly a trigger kit in it as well. My dad has a spare hammer forged 10/22T barrel laying around after he did the .17HM2 conversion to his 10/22T. We'd like to put dad's heavy barrel on the receiver out of my uncle's old gun but need a stock to fit the heavy barrel.
We'd really just like to have another laminated factory 10/22T stock but the better the deal the less picky we'd be about the particular brand/style of stock. :thumb:

If you don't want to spend any money for a stock, and the one on the gun you're working on is in good shape, a factory stock is really easy to convert to bull barrel dimensions.

A piece of 3\4" dowel rod, some various grit pieces of sand paper, and a little time is all it takes.
