Live From the Stand

First time in about two months I've bow hunted. It's a bit windier than I'd like and a bit warmer too but I'm not complaining about the temp. I'm hoping an unsuspecting deer walks by me. I could tell this morning that I'm a bit rusty. I got to the house and had to conjure up a harness because I didn't have my usual one. Found one in dad's shop. I'm also wearing a red hoodie because the coat I thought was in my truck wasn't. Good thing deer are red/green colorblind. (I'll find out if they really are or not.)

Wish me luck! So far no deer but it's good to be out here. Funny thing, is I have a crappie fishing expedition planned for this afternoon. Lol.

It is so foggy here in SW AR - they would be tough to see. I would still rather be in a stand than in my office chair.
It's not real foggy here. It was earlier but it's lifted. Of course I'm not on a river or lake.

Well, if it makes you feel better, you've seen as many deer as me, are probably warm, and are getting paid. I'm cold and not making money. :D
Nvm. I just saw two does as I was typing that. Out of range though, about 100 yards out.
It's pretty windy here. I haven't been lucky enough to see any though.
I'm down. Saw 4 does all out of range. I got cold. Next time I'll be better prepared. Enjoyed it for a few hours this morning anyways.

Cuttin' out of the stand at 0830....???
It's only been good light for a hour....

I guess my blood lust is stronger....I never get down before about 1000....ever....
Well I made it to 9:30 myself, but had some looking around to do.
