I'm experiencing a bowhunters worst fears. I was running late so I didn't get a chance to have my morning bm...Now i'm 20 feet up and double overed!

Missed a squirrel, but just barely and it was eating corn at the corn pile. Shot right under him. That's my first shot from this stand. Pretty confident on something bigger now......dang huge wood pecker just flew up. Bright red head. Thought it was a crow flying up at first. White breast and white wing tips you can see when it flies.

I don't try to hold out and be miserable all day. Just go take care of business. It may be 2 hours before something comes along anyway.

Now if I can get some coming in from the west and the wind switch out if the East, then I will have been winded from all directions.
Guess I should be thankful. I've had 11 deer within 70 yds so far this morning. Maybe big boy is coming in a little bit.

Wow, just got busted from a deer up wind. Couldn't tell what it was but it sure blew at me for a long time.
