At 6 AM this morning when we went out to give more hay and turn out the horses as I shined the flashlight around and I saw 5 sets of eyes down low just inside the wooded area at the edge of the pasture. Thought maybe coons or coyotes so I walked closer. Got within 70 yards before the flashlight made it clear that it was a group of deer bedded down right there by our pasture. They didn't seem concerned and didn't get up. They knew it wasn't legal shooting light anyway. :biggrin:
