I’ve got to get a spreader for my UTV to use on my plots. What recommendations do you guys and gal’s have or that you use. Will use it for food plot and yard application.
Dr Pepper
After a very lengthy and thorough testing, I have determined that planting operations go much smoother with Coors LightDr Pepper

You better pay dang close attention to any pics you post on here. Folks pick em apart like vultures.Quit being nosy.
You think I dug through his underwear drawer to get that picture? Or did he post it on a public forum? And if you didn't already know that SC drank Coors, you don't come to this part of the forum much.Quit being nosy.
My recommendation is dont ever put fertilizer in an electric spreader.Whatever you go with I highly recommend a thorough cleaning if you spread fertilizer
We only fertilize with PTO driven spreaders. And still wash down all components thoroughly. My recommendation is dont ever put fertilizer in an electric spreader.
That is what I do - and got 15 years out of my last spreader. Had to buy a new one this year. I dont fertilize much anymore unless I am growing a crop like sunflowers or millet that benefits from a shot of nitrogen. I have quit fertilizing my clover/wheat plots - now relying on the clover to fix nitrogen for the wheat. Deer dont seem to care.We only fertilize with PTO driven spreaders.
