Saw this thing at Sportsmans Warehouse today. It's a frameless pack designed to lash large loads (game quarters, turkeys, etc) to.

I'm not sure how comfortable it could be. The benefit of a properly fitted frame pack is that it helps distribute weight from your shoulders and rest it on your hips.
On my elk hunt this fall, we should only have to worry about packing meat out of canyons, etc that are inaccessable to horses. This would be a lot lighter to take along (20oz). I think it was $39.
I cant find any online reviews. What do yall think?
