    If you’re gonna get a cur, hunt with the parents beforehand. I was a gunho cur man until the last one I got. She had a championship pedigree and I spent 2 years on a waiting list. When you dropped the tailgate she was 100 mph in a straight line. She might hit a track in 100 yards or a 1/2 mile. Twice she swam the saline at 3/4 bank full. I told myself never again

    and even then, it is no sure thing. I used to raise english pointer bird dogs. Had both parents on site. Pups dont always turn out like the parents.

    Sounds like you had a hard hunting dog. That is honestly what I expect of a dog.
