Well I haven’t seen a post yet, who’s applied for Kansas Non-resident deer tag draw this year. What unit are y’all looking to draw?

I have a PP .... after thinking long and hard because of the cost of the tag, I'm going to apply for it.

Probably my last year to ever hunt Kansas. It costs too much now, I'm priced out and it simply isn't worth it

    I'm not sure ....

$442.50 Nonresident White-tailed Deer Permit, (16 and older and includes $27.50 nonrefundable application fee)
$152.50 Mule Deer Stamp Fee (plus Nonresident White-tailed deer permit fee listed above)
    $26.50 Preference Point.
Nonresident: $97.50 hunting license I think

see, you're supposed to buy your hunting license BEFORE or AS you are applying .......... and you have to pay a PP too, even if you have one already and don't want another, you gotta pay that $26.50

    and there are "convenience fees"

now, Kansas told me via facebook I buy the license for 97.50 and if I do NOT draw, they'll refund me

I doubt that - so if I draw the optional muley, and all the other stuff .... $750 or something, $600 without the muley ?

too much, likely my last year

I put in for the draw again. This will be my 8th year to hunt Kansas if I’m drawn.

I look at it as a week vacation... MUCH cheaper than going to the beach or Disney world for a week lol.
