Is he a shooter or would ya let him go another year?
Pass. 2.5 year old deer.
yeah let him walk,
Kill em. Then post the pics
I'd be kicking myself for not being on stand when that pic was taken! I'd like to see him on the hoof because that angle is hard to judge him at but the head gear is impressive.
Looks a little young but this late in the season I would probably go ahead. :smack: CHOOTEM!!!
Only steps I'd allow that deer to take would be the ones leading to my shooting lane.
seriously, is this some kind of trick question. If that deer is not mature with headgear like that he has to be a penned breeder deer. I'd shoot him as soon as i could get on him.
Yup I'd sure be listening for that THWACK of my broad head square in his side!!
You'd let him walk after you shook yourself out of the stand. This deer is getting an arrow slung at him! No guarantee he'll be around next year!
If u have enough land an hunters that agree to let him walk then do so, bit if ur not hunting a good tract of land then somebody else is gunna shoot him so you might as well!
X2! I would be huntin that stand every chance I could! Even if the deer ain't hunted. He could get hit by a car or something. Get that bad boy and post pics!

He is definitely a shooter.
Need more pics
This! Wrong angle to attempt a guess at the age of this deer. It all boils down to depending on a number of questions. Some of which have already been mentioned. The main question is, what are the goals of your lease/club on allowing bucks to mature(4.5-5-5+)?
The OP has jokes. HAHA.
Need coordinates to get a first hand look. Thats the only way to truly answer the question
