Has anyone seen the Ironbuck?Its a neat looking metel deer skull to mount your antlers on,and hang on the wall.Or on the table or whatever.I bought one for myself.Maybe for some antlers not quite big enough for a shoulder mount,but some your proud of.

I've got two of those, and while they are kinda neat, I still think that a european skull mount looks better.

I have used a skull-shaped form from Van ***** and then covered it with buckskin. This picture shows it on the left.

Now that's swanky! But for the price, I think I'd be tempted to try that metallic Rustoleum.

I did that for a student last year with a deer skull, and it turned out looking pretty darn cool. The trick to it was to paint everything, but the antlers flat black, and let it dry and then go back over it with which ever metallic paint that you wanted that skull to be. It certainly is different.

I got one for my birthday and the screws stripped right out. Had to go buy better quality screws to get it to work.
