If you had to limit yourself to one handgun would it be a revolver or semi. I do plan on getting my concealed carry but do not plan on carrying 100% of the time. I want something that I can carry in my
truck, woods, water, and maybe occasionally in public. If I go revolver it will be along a .357 line,
if I go semi it will be in the 40/45 line.

Whatever I get I do plan on reloading for.

I may get a smaller concealed style later on but at this time just looking for one multi purpose.

Revolver all the way. Less things to worry about going wrong. I have a snub 38 special and it works great. I use it as back up in the woods and everything just as you mentioned

If concealability isn't the most important factor I would go with a compact, not sub-compact, but the midsize Glock. Still small enough to conceal but big enough to fill your hand and I have had good luck with mine.

You cant go wrong with a revolver. Its what I carry every day and it is just as cheap as everything else to reload for. Best thing about it is that it will go bang every time.

I dont trust my life to an auto. Revolver for me. I have autos, but my carry gun is a .38 hammerless snubby.

Always grab my snubby 38. I just can't make myself take the auto. I always feel more secure with the revolver.

I hope I don't ever have to limit myself to one handgun, but if I did, it would have to be a revolver of some type. That being said, when I carry it is almost always a semi auto, a P239 lately ,but before this purchase I carried a P11.

My main carry is a Ruger SP101 in 357mag, with a 2 1/4 barrel. If I was limited to only one handgun for everything I'd probably switch to the 3 inch or maybe even the new SP in 4 inch. Be a little hard to conceal, but would be better for alround use.

For most folks, if they could only have one handgun, best bet would be .357 mag revolver.

But I'm a lot like ursus, my biggest problem would be deciding which 1911!
