Ice report??

    Whats the ice doing up there?? Saw some new birds down today and figured they are on the move becasue of the ice.

    the ice is getting harder in the overnight hours and starts to thaw / slush the later it gets in the day, i believe this has to do with rising and falling temps....

    had about 1/4 to 1/2 inch ice in the middle of the lake this mornin. Not too bad around the bank. With a little warmer weather next week, should not be a big issue.
  5. GBacon's right. At the Metro yesterday the ice was about 1/4 thick. Was still breakable, but get much thicker and it's gonna be really fun busting through it with waders and knee-caps. :eek:

    Supposed to warm up in the next few days though so it should be all good.

    no ice and plenty of ducks around bald knob.. shhhhhhhhhhhh, lil hurricane shhhhhhhhhhhh...
