I started fishing at 4:30 AM Saturday morning. I finally caught a striped bass at 1:30 PM. We only caught 2 catfish all weekend on the yo-yo's. Well...........2 catfish and 2 ducks. :smack:

And I got this new rod and reel called the "Pink Lady". It is so fine! It's hot pink with a pink reel and the reel light up when you turn it. Had my name all over it.

Wow....I had a sudden flashback of that red haired biker chick from my past!:thumb: Lookin good! I been workin on my tackle all day!
All these fishing posts and pictures have got me hankering to go. Squirrel hunting and golfing just have a bad habit of getting in the way. :smack:
Guess I can concentrate more on fishing once the AH.net golf outing is over with.
Are those ducks or coots?
We call them poodledoos. Is that a Louisiana name for coots?

Possibly. Loosieanner folks seem to have names for most everything. Back when I dated an LA gal, they fried up some fish one time and I had to eat a few bites to figure out it was crappie they'd cooked up and not some sort of French fish.
Thats what Im talkin bout Bett...NICE Pics......

When I moved to AR and people kept talking about crappie fish I couldn't wait to see and taste them. Finally when that opportunity arrived that's when I realized it was the same as what we call white perch!
