Hybrid Mallard

    Well we didnt limit out this morning but we did get this little beauty. Looks to be a Mallard/Pintail cross.

    Wood Duck Whacker wanted to leave and I convinced him to stay just a little while longer. Glad we waited:up:

    Yup, brewers duck. I killed one two years ago and am ornithologist (sp) told me what it was. They occur naturally (not a park duck or anything). Pretty cool duck.

    Cool duck. A mallard/pintail or "mule" duck usually would have the white pintail stripe on the neck.

    We forgot to take pics of the wings but the color spectrum was green.
