I will broadcast many things about me and I may talk about individual guns but I won't give a total number. We don't know whom lurks here and what thier motives may be so I feel it best to keep that number to myself.

Remember this is an election year and the one that gains control of the white house might want to know how many each of us owns ..........so to know how many to confiscate!:wink:

Not enough that I don't want more, but enough that I am comfortable I can handle any situation I might face.

A better question for this election period might be, "How much ammo do you have squirreled away?" I am very ashamed to say that I am still below the 10,000 round mark, but am closing fast!

I've thinned my personal inventory down a bit over the last couple years, and only have 20 long guns, 13 handguns, and a very good safe.

I believe that was Col. Jeff Cooper's reply to how many were "enough".

I'd have to add ammo to that list as well. As far as the "survivalist" you hear about on TV, I may well be him. I've got a LOT of ammo rat-holed and I buy a bit more every pay day, and as soon as I can clear out a little space, I'll be rolling my own so I can get even more.

Bullets are to guns what gas is to cars..... they just don't run without it!! And a gun I can't shoot is a waste of overhead!!!
