Looking to get permits for the Cache this deer season for my son and I. The young fella likes hog hunting too so I was wondering if there were hogs to be found on the Cache anywhere. Didn't want to waste time looking for some while scouting for deer if there weren't any areas with them.

Very few hogs that I know of on the refuge.Could be a few on the south end as I don’t venture there.

Weldon - Tupelo area still has a few on the refuge we have killed a few over the last few years.

Got several friends in the DevallsBluff/ Biscoe area and they've killed a couple in last 10 years. They dont see much sign either.

I hope AGFC doesn’t read this thread. They’ll think the hog population has gone the way of the Bobwhite. Y’all just head further south to the middle of Zone 12.

Haven’t been in a few years, but WRNWR used to have a lot. Might just need to go farther south.?.
