He was pissed. Same trap as the curled up sleeping coon a few pictures up. I just left it in the same place, reset it, and caught the possum that night.
Buzzards too.
My son caught a possum yesterday morning and left it in the snare after he shot it.
When he went back to reset his snare 3 hours later the buzzards had already ate half the possums side out.
