My favorite gun myth in movies is when a thug gets shot and he travels 10' through the air and crashes through a block wall.

I like it when they drop a glock and it goes off.

Especially when on the run shooting one handed at a moving target...AND score a headshot

Don't you know, Glocks don't run out of bullets, and you can't see them in an X-ray either.

I like when they hide behind the car door.
Then it gets sprayed with an Ak.

I have shot a car with 7.62x39. Only thing it didnt punch a hole thru was motor.

Folks always die stone dead. No writhing or even movement. That is unless they have a profound statement to make before their head falls to the side and they make that last exhale.

Also given the right car an AK will even shoot through the motor.

bullets never hit you anywhere but dead center of the chest or dead center of the forehead.

I always laughed at the old Gunsmoke series. Two gunslingers would square off and one always got shot in the arm. No problem. He'd just look at it, move forward, and never flinch. I guess in those days men were real men. I think I would have a different reaction, but won't elaborate for fear some of you would try to revoke my man card!

HA! How true! Gunsmoke is one of my all-time favorites but I have thought the same thing.

Also, no gunfire in any movie produces the slightest recoil, ever.
