A friend of mine and his grandson went up to the Johnson hole in South Fork, just before the snow. They only fished about three hours and never got a bite. they were bass and crappie fishing.

I charged the batteries up last night in my boat and my fishing fever is getting real high. :thumb:

The lake is a little high which should make the fishing better this spring. The white bass and walleyes should pickup in the next couple of days as the waters clears. The bass fishing is going to pickup also depending on the water temp. The first of april last year I caught a bunch on senkos. In a couple of weeks the bass should really turn on. I heard of a few people catching a few in the creek channels moving to shallower water.

Well it wasn't to good Wednesday we fish for about 2 hours and I caught 1 10" black bass. It wasup in Hill Creek, caught it on a minnow colered gitzit. The wind was really bad but as the say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.:thumb:
