I have only had a few good hunts at Wattensaw. Never had a lot of luck. I’m sure they are there, but I have never found em good enough to keep me going back!
Never squirrel hunted it, but have seen a lot bow hunting it
Not all, but we are working on it.

alpha drug me about a mile and half back into a spot bow hunting in january and I bet I seen 20 squirrels or so from my tree that evening. Could of limited out quick, could hear more farther down the bottom.

He looked at me..
Like I was stupid or something...Lol
I know they they are there. Knew some guys that dog hunted out there, and would wear em out. I just havnt had much luck. It’s pretty woods for sure.
I have found out that tree is only a winter den tree. I tried it this spring and there wasn’t a squirrel around.
that cane in there is probably full of um!
I talked to some guys last year that hunt there and they said that just 3 guys in two days of hunting saw close to 30 rattlers.
That is a pretty thick population...
Half the squirrels I’ve killed this year was wading through hip high cane thickets.
I ain’t walking in hip high nothing right now. Even with snake boots on.
You’re probably more apt to be hit by lightning than get snake bit, dunno
